An amazing dream wedding in the south of France
A Dreamy French-Romanian Wedding at Le Mas de la Rose
THIS ! This is the kind of energy I dig ! This wedding in the south of France at Mas de la Rose was everything and more. Emotional, fun, glamourous. I had so much fun photographing Lucia, Alex and their families and friends.
Lucia and Alex decided to get marry under the sun and to exchange vows during a simple yet beautiful outdoor ceremony.
The dress, the suit…
Lucia bought a stunning Alon Livné dress… But she had a vision for this dress and made some alterations with a seamster to fit it. And she was a vision…
Alex wore a custom made French suit by Vestibus club that contrasted with the dress code.
Pastel wedding dress code
Not every wedding has a dress code but I am thrilled when it works that well. And it gives me the excuse to buy a stunning new outfit to blend in.
On this wedding day everyone was requested to dress in a pastel palette. From the soft greens to light purples with in between blushed pinks…
I myself opted for a pale yellow pair of pants and a pink blazer. I was happy not to wear black and white for once !
Exchanging vows under a tree
Le Mas de la Rose is a wonderful, intimate venue that allows to enjoy peace and quiet moments, to have fun by the pool and to exchange vows under the sun without getting a sunburn ^^
Because, yes, getting married in the south of France is a must but, you have to be aware that you will need some shade to be comfortable and have beautiful photos of the moment.
First, get a large tree and seat everyone under it… Second… wait until the end of the afternoon so the sun won’t be too harsh.
Cocktail party – Get musical
I personally love a live band at a cocktail or something of the sort. This time the couple chose a Sax player to liven up the cocktail party. As much as I enjoy having a glass of champagne, don’t you think being able to move on your favorite songs is even better ?
The short party dress trend
If there is a trend I love… It’s this one ! As a fashion aficionada I love a wedging with multiple dresses.
Lucia dropped the ceremony dress for a beaded short dress and white gloves and she was GORGEOUS !
The party got on until late in the night with an energy that was exceptional.
