Keith Flament | Wedding Photographer in Chantilly, Paris & Destinations
About a French wedding photographer with a Scottish name.
Welcome here!
I believe photography is more than just capturing moments; it’s about preserving feelings and telling stories.
With that in mind, my goal is to create images that transport you back to the most meaningful moments of your life. The ones filled with joy, love, and real connection.
In practice, each photograph is crafted with care and attention to detail, blending candid spontaneity with timeless elegance. So whether it’s a fleeting glance, a shared laugh, or the magic of a quiet moment, I strive to capture the essence of what makes your story unique.
Ultimately, for me, photography is about creating memories that will stay with you for generations, evoking not just what a moment looked like, but how it felt.
If you’d like it even more conversational, we can trim a bit more and vary the rhythm further.

A QUICK WORD ABOUT MY JOURNEY
My passion for photography began at a young age.
Both my grandfather and father, amateur photographers, sparked it.
From the start, I loved the ritual: the quiet focus, the anticipation, the way a single frame could hold so much.
Above all, analog photography mesmerized me.
I watched images gradually appear in the development baths, as if time itself unfolded on the paper.
As I grew older, that early fascination never faded.
Instead, it quietly shaped the choices I made.
Even during my academic studies, photography stayed present.
I earned a master’s degree in philosophy at a university in Paris.
There, I learned to listen more deeply, to question assumptions, and to look for meaning beneath the surface.
In many ways, philosophy became another form of storytelling.
Today, that directly informs how I approach every wedding: with curiosity, patience, and a focus on what truly matters.
Eventually, my heart won the argument.
So I followed my calling and became a full-time photographer.
In the process, I turned a lifelong obsession with light and stories into my everyday life.
I am now fortunate to live near Chantilly.
From here, I balance the serenity of the countryside with the vibrant energy of Paris.
I also split my year between France-based weddings and international destination assignments.
Because of this, I work with couples who value discretion, emotion, and refined imagery.
Who do I work with ?
• You care more about light, composition, and honest emotion than about a checklist of poses.
• You’re planning a luxury or destination wedding in France or Europe, whether it’s an intimate elopement or a multi-day celebration with family and friends.
• You want images that feel like a refined editorial: timeless, understated.
I might not be the right photographer if:
• You’re looking for very posed, too many traditional portraits with heavy retouching.
• Your priority is quantity over storytelling and emotional depth.
There’s no right or wrong , just different visions. My aim is to be the right match for the couples who naturally resonate with my approach.
My style & approach
If I had to describe my work in a few words, they would be: documentary, editorial, light-driven, and detail-oriented.
I believe the most powerful images are the ones that feel inevitable, as if they could not have been any other way. On your wedding day, I move quietly, blending into the flow of the celebration. I pay attention to the way light falls on a dress, the architecture of a room, the small gestures that say everything.
You’ll barely notice me, but you’ll feel completely held.
For portraits, I offer gentle guidance rather than rigid posing. We’ll find beautiful light, take a few minutes just for the two of you, and let the rest happen naturally. The result is a gallery that feels like a high-end editorial: honest, composed, and deeply you.
Let’s talk about your wedding
If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to hear about your story.
Tell me your date, your venue (or your dream location), and a few words about how you met, what matters to you, and what you imagine for your day. I’ll get back to you within 48 hours to see if we’re a good match.
